Paul Martin

Get to Know Paul

Paul Martin is originally from the Midwest, but came to California for college, graduating from the University of Santa Clara cum laude. After serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army, Paul worked in the film industry for over twenty years, with film credits that include Dude Where's My Car and Hellraiser III. Paul then founded Vineyard Productions, producing and directing various projects, and is honored with the title Chair Emeritus of the San Francisco Coordinating Committee of the Directors Guild of America.

After moving to Sonoma, CA in 2000,  Paul immersed himself in various non-profit organizations, doing promotional videos for such groups as the Willmar Center for Bereaved Children. Paul has been a docent at the Jack London State Historic Park for over fifteen years where he has produced numerous promotional videos and an audio tour for the park. Paul also created the audio tour for Quarryhill Botanical Garden.


Paul’s foray into auctioneering began in 2012 with the Red and White Ball in Sonoma. Utilizing his theatre degree, movie-making experience and outgoing personality, he has been entertaining crowds and raising money for excellent causes ever since. He has auctioneered all over Northern California, from Santa Rosa to San Francisco and beyond, and has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for deserving charities, non-profits and other organizations.
